Submission dates come and go so maybe it will be next year for some of these, remember that Competitions are but one weapon at your disposal, they can be expensive, they can be fruitless.

Submissions must be documented since entering affects publication, in the time you are waiting for a yea or nea poems sent to Competitions are effectively dead poems.

These are thousands of contests and competitions, some are just revenue generating and not real contests, some make you wait so long you will grow old and die before you find out.

The bottom line is you must do your research in a methodical manner, read ALL the guidelines, read what won, read the publication in question - this is not the lotto folks.
